Hotel Mayorazgo recibe a los asistentes al I Congreso Internacional sobre el Síndrome de Sotos
De nuevo, Hotel Mayorazgo tiene el placer de recibir a la Asociación Española del Síndrome de Sotos (AESS).
En esta ocasión, con motivo del I Congreso Internacional sobre el Síndrome de Sotos que se celebra durante las jornadas de 11 y 12 noviembre. Este encuentro adquiere especial relevancia en tanto acogerá ponencias médicas de profesionales expertos en esta enfermedad rara procedentes de España e Italia. Además, también tendrá lugar una mesa redonda denominada “Grandes referentes con Síndrome de Sotos” donde los afectados expondrán lo que hacen, cómo han llegado ahí y cómo se sienten para poner el broche final a este I Congreso Internacional.
A continuación, en la tradicional Cena que AESS celebra en estos encuentros los distintos ponentes podrán compartir experiencias y momentos de gran emotividad con familias de afectados. Como colofón al Congreso, el domingo 12 de noviembre se celebrará la Asamblea General de Socios.
El Síndrome de Sotos, considerada una enfermedad rara, es un trastorno genético que afecta a 1 de 15000 recién nacidos y que se caracteriza principalmente por un sobrecrecimiento infantil, una apariencia facial característica y diferentes grados de retraso en el desarrollo motor, del lenguaje, social y cognitivo, así como dificultades de aprendizaje.”
Comprometido con las causas solidarias a través de su Programa de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (RSC), Mayorazgo Solidario, Hotel Mayorazgo ha atendido la solicitud de AESS para colaborar con la Asociación mediante una aportación en forma de donación que, a modo de descuento, ofrece a los asistentes al Congreso unos precios muy especiales en concepto de alojamiento y desayuno para que puedan alojarse en la zona más céntrica de la ciudad.
